I don't believe it. I mean, these were the same things that were said about Iron Maiden after they did Virtual XI and X Factor... and they came back (more or less) in a big way! I don't expect another Master or Ride, but I think they can definitely make other albums at least on the level of the Black Album.

I don't know... maybe it's because I've never really listened to Load and Reload. Damn, wasting a guitarist like Kirk on such boring riffs just doesn't sit right with me. Anyway, as a huge Metallica fan, I think St. Anger is better than Load and Reload.
