X loupin, thanks for the compliment.....I wouldn't want you to take it back if I tell you that I also love Pogues, Clash, AC/DC; in short, I cover quite a lot I would say, except for rap and heavy metal which I find pretty awful, except for some rare exceptions.....bye!

I don't know the album... but I don't like your review... it's too generic (I've heard decidedly contrasting opinions about the album) Personally, I really appreciated Flowers in the Dirt and also Flaming Pie...

understated review... this album deserved more... I agree with the rating, though.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Into The Great Wide Open

eheh unfortunately you're right.....I have everything by Petty and honestly he's the most consistent artist I know, and what's even rarer is that he has never made a bad album! Anyway, at home, he is highly regarded (rightly so).

I wrote Free Fallin as if it were the album title! Sorry, the title is Fool Moon Fever (highly recommended to anyone passing through this review).

Thank you for the votes, Silvia. Of course, your "comparison" between Tom Petty and Freddie Mercury (who, by the way, I consider one of the greatest voices of all time) doesn't quite hit the mark... I would say not at all... then it's obvious that you should listen to music in line with your mood (unless you want to hurt yourself further). When I’m feeling down, I avoid putting on Closer by Joy Division, for example, but also the same goes for Nick Cave or the Velvet... If you liked this, then feel free to get Free Fallin! As for your agoraphobia issue, if you want, we can talk about it separately (MSN or email, it's up to you).

Bruce Springsteen Born To Run

x B&B
Springsteen 1 singular phenomenon? Usually, do fans appreciate something new? Have fans ended up mythologizing? But how much nonsense do you spout?? Enjoy your lovely Bowie (who went to Boss concerts to piss himself with excitement) and leave in peace those you can't comprehend.
P.S. Come on, you're just one piece away from having excellent musical taste... I also adore Dylan, Waits, and De André... what you’re simply missing is the Greatest Performer in the History of Rock! :P

A-Ha Scoundrel Days

I'll spare you the rating for the review... the only two memories I have of the A-ha are a beautiful song titled "Stay on These Roads" that I heard several times at those "ns" adolescent parties in the early '90s, just to make it clear... and I really cherish that memory... it’s been at least 15 years since I last heard it, though... but I remember it well, so it must have been of remarkable quality. And then I remember "Take On Me" (especially for the amusing video). Honestly, I don’t feel like adding much more... I’ll just say that I definitely agree with whoever said: "Surely the chart music from back then was significantly better than today’s."
