truly excellent this review, you perfectly describe this great album. To everyone who feels drawn to this band, I recommend their best: Moon and Antartica.

All of Waits' albums are beautiful, at least half of them are essential, and then everyone has their own preferences. The ones I always enjoy listening to the most are Blue Valentine, Heartattack and Vine, Nighthawks at the Diner, Rain Dogs, and Bone Machine; they all have the power to send long shivers down your spine... Small Change under certain conditions can be deadly!

Kosmogabri, you have probably focused your attention on other details; the soundtrack has left an impression even on those who did not appreciate the film... after all, they wouldn't have used a track from this soundtrack to promote the new car of a well-known car manufacturer! It definitely sticks with you! Just one time, and you never forget it!

Badalamenti is an excellent author and in high demand, but what he did with Lynch has a truly special flavor, it's "different." Lynch's contribution is essential (one could easily consider him a co-author), and John Neff is also crucial (co-author along with the director of the beautiful BLUEBOB!) As for the O.S.T. of Twin Peaks, I've always found it brilliant! All the pieces are PERFECTLY in tune with the characters and atmospheres of the show; I remember the incredible performance of Little Jimmy Scott (this alone would lend credit to the taste and style of the Badalamenti-Lynch duo) in the final episode, it gives you chills! These are things you don’t even see in cinema, and that crazy David Lynch distilled moments of supreme art for the small screen!

Why misfortune to hear him sing live? I heard him and he has a beautiful voice, much better than on record! Comparing him to Dylan? Everyone loses when compared to Bob, what the hell are we talking about? And why do we always have to compare? In any case, Beck remains a folksinger whether it’s Mutations, Odelay, or Guero, the inspiration and purpose are always the same! A folksinger, a mutant folksinger!
