Well, you shouldn’t just focus on appearances! The songs from Barrett's solo albums could fit perfectly on The Piper, just as those Barrett did with Pink Floyd could belong to his solo work! It’s like saying that All Along The Watchtower is a rock song! That would be reductive (considering that in the first recording it was actually a country ballad)! The same applies to Barrett's songs! The foundation has always been a crooked folk sound, even in The Piper!

it's not disgusting!.. returning to the discussion about the difference between shit and forgettable, we should first ascertain whether shit is forgettable... usually when one goes to the bathroom, they don't remember what the shit looks like, so shit is forgettable! However, if something is outside the norm (for example, a strong smell), then the shit becomes unforgettable! So we can affirm that shit is forgettable, but if particularly unpleasant, then it is unforgettable. However, it falls into that category of unforgettable that everyone would like to forget (the worst of the worst!)... even in music, there exists a genre of that kind! How many shitty albums have we (involuntarily or voluntarily) listened to that, unfortunately, have remained in our ears, perpetually held hostage by bad taste?
