big album, which are the ugly tracks?

many wanted the b&S to make the same album over and over again... fortunately, it wasn't like that. an ironic, sunny, catchy record full of beautiful songs.

idle, I simply noticed aspects that you didn't see, maybe because you and someone else, while watching Cassandra's Dream, were too focused on making comparisons with Crimes and Misdemeanors and Match Point, which are completely different films, made with a different style and aiming for different objectives; the mere presence of a crime or a wrongdoing is not enough to group them together. Then, basettoni, the fact that this film does not focus on action is a strength; if you want to see action, watch Michael Bay's films, not Woody Allen's.

It's a beautiful film. A sharp portrayal of today's society. It's one of Allen's best, the lines are razor-sharp, the dialogues perfect, and the actors very talented. The most grotesque situations are truly memorable.

Haynes didn’t want to create a classic biography, fortunately; he blended reality with dreams, the man with the character, the character with the myth, the sacred with the profane, the past with the present and the future, all together. Even Dylan’s songs do all this. Haynes succeeds in evoking the essence of Dylan, his ghost, because a ghost is much more than a person. I have rarely seen such a powerful mix of images, music, and poetry in cinema.

That joke makes me laugh much more in Italian.

I believe that Svankmajer is the only one who can be considered a genius of cinema.

I didn't say he's a genius, just like Rossellini, Hawks, Bresson, Ford, Ozu, and Kurosawa are not geniuses either. That doesn't mean that some of these haven't created masterpieces; El Topo and The Holy Mountain are masterpieces for me. I've already seen the films of these directors, and I appreciate them a lot (except for Rossellini).
