Well, terribly commercial doesn’t always have to be seen as an insult! Everything But The Girl are "commercial," and that doesn’t change the fact that I adore them; Moby's latest is commercial, but it's really well done! My statement was just meant to show how, in the beginning, Talk Talk certainly didn't have that exploratory vein that they later displayed. Moreover, their "Such" and "Shame" and "It's My Life" are, for me, two pop gems from those years. Also, I didn’t talk about the group's sudden "madness," but about a "redemption path" from pop to experimentation... in short, there's a minimum of continuity between their early days and their later albums, and I certainly don’t deny that! Finally, the equation commercial=bad isn’t always true... at least not for me.

eheeheh, if you wanted to show us (as I believe) the banality of the song and the end of a rocker who has definitely contributed something to the Italian music scene in the past, you succeeded completely! :-)

Great record, I see delirium! I’ll write a delirious review in tune with the album! Anyway, excellent analysis of a sonic omelette, it wasn't easy!

ah... the initial holes is, for me, one of the most beautiful "pop" songs of all time.

I haven't listened to the "in the fishtank" with BHP... is it worth it? Anyway, even in spring, even if later, the sun always sets... :-)
