Antony and the Johnsons I Am A Bird Now
Voto:
A rather cryptic review. It's always good to mention someone as a point of reference, just to frame the artist. Anyway, I will buy the record because everyone is talking well about it. Then I'll get back to you.
Love Forever Changes
Voto:
Timeless album. The fact that it was recorded in 1967 is hard to believe. A chimera for 99% of the bands that came after. An absolute masterpiece.
Talk Talk Spirit Of Eden
Voto:
One of the most beautiful albums of all time and I'm not joking. If you only know "Such A Shame," you might not believe your ears. But does anyone know what happened to Mark Hollis? He released a somewhat controversial solo album in 1998 and then?
Supergrass I Should Coco
Voto:
Bought for 5 Euros in a record store that was closing down. It's worth 5 Euros and it's the only positive note of a bland, bland little disc. I really wonder if there are people who can get excited about this music.
Polly Paulusma Scissors In My Pocket
Voto:
Great album, maybe a little overrated, but Dark Side is worth the ticket price by itself. Let's hope it doesn't end up like Eddie Brickell.
Morrissey You Are The Quarry
Voto:
Welcome back, Moz. I've been waiting for you since "Viva Hate." Thank you to a true and sincere artist (perhaps a bit of a braggart) like there are few around. We don't need new prophets who only last the span of an album. Welcome back, King.
Devendra Banhart Rejoicing In The Hands
Voto:
The beauty is that I even had to go a bit crazy before getting this record. All the songs are the same, not a shred of melody and not a shred of imagination. But it sounds cool to say that Devendra Banhart is hippy and alternative. That's how the world goes. Amen. Nino Rojo can rot on the shelves for me.
Franz Ferdinand Franz Ferdinand

I share the review. It was voted album of the year in several music magazines. Well! The Talking Heads were doing this stuff twenty years ago, and nobody ever lost their mind over it. I just listened to it again, and to be generous, I could give it three stars. But just barely. You'll see that by the next album they'll be completely cooked.
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus
Voto:
A medium-level album. Abbattoir Blues is worth two stars, while The Lyre of Orpheus is worth four. The average is three stars. But the masterpieces of King Ink are different. However, I have the impression that he has reached the end of the line. Better than Nocturama, but worse than quite a few others.

This will be the next album I buy. It's been on my mind ever since I heard Lebanese Blonde. From what I've read, I think I might really like it. I truly hope so.
