"I have no male preferences because I'm a woman"........what's?!?!?!?

Being a boy and heterosexual, my attention obviously turns towards the fairer sex, and randomly, I am attracted to: Gwen Stefani, Shirley Manson, Alanis Morissette, and Natalie Imbruglia (although she has gotten a bit worse lately). I also don't mind P.J. Harvey and Bjork, even though they are a bit unconventional beauties, but certainly intriguing. There are definitely others that I can't recall right now, but from those mentioned, I certainly have good taste.

But were you already in love with him during the Genesis days, or did your "struggimento" for Peter Gabriel come later, showing an interest in mature and graying men? I liked him much more when he was younger, back in the Genesis days, but even up to his early solo albums he was "discretoccio." Now, for my tastes, he’s a bit too mature. It's a matter of taste, of course.

When I see the runtime of an album exceed 60 minutes, I already feel a bit gloomy. This one lasts 70 minutes. To listen to this stuff, more than antibiotics, you'd need a "cannon." It's not my genre, let's put it that way.

The Best of Eagles is the only thing I have from them. It's enough and more for me. Mid West Coast from Fm.

Like many, too many, artists from the 80s, Matt also experienced a downward trajectory. Each album lost some of its edge compared to the previous one. For me, "Soul Mining" remains unattainable.

From what I read back then, I would have expected much more from "Just For A Day" and "Souvlaki." Not bad, but not transcendent either. From their ashes, Mojave 3 were born and "Excuses For Travellers," that is truly a noteworthy piece of work.
Duran Duran Big Thing

From your comment, I get the impression that you haven't read the review. I don't think I've talked about the Duran Duran phenomenon at all. I tried to discuss the album in the most detached way possible, focusing solely on the musical aspect, since the cultural context is well-known to most. If I had paid attention to that, I doubt I would have bought this album, let alone talked about it. That Duran Duran has done many better things than this album, I have serious doubts. Maybe "Rio," but then?!?
A-Ha Scoundrel Days

Comparing Chris Isaak to A-Ha seems like something from the Spanish Inquisition. At least he made a couple of promising albums. Then he got lost. But A-Ha...meh!
