What a crush I had on Costello in the eighties! I have all his vinyl records up until the early nineties when, alas, his inspiration started to wane a bit. Today he is an almost forgotten figure, and many won’t even know him well. Listening again to some of his records, once labeled masterpieces, they sound a bit dated, but nonetheless the good MacManus delighted our ears immensely.
