I'm against lengthy reviews, in principle. I have the album, but honestly, I remember it little, even though it doesn't seem so bad to me as you describe it. Zero originality, but still listenable. Jagged Little Pill, for me, is a great album.

He has just released a new album, but I have no idea what's inside. This might be his best work, from what I've heard. Honestly, I don't think the debut is a great album.
Edie Brickell Picture Perfect Morning

In fact, it wasn't her who sang the Coppa del Nonno. The song was Circle, but I have no idea who covered it.
Edie Brickell Picture Perfect Morning
Voto:
The only Brickell song I know is the famous "Shooting..." and to be honest, except for two or three tracks, it doesn't really blow me away. Physically, I don't have a strong recollection of Edie, and apparently, I'm missing out (ahem, I missed out, considering the age) on something.
Tom Petty Southern Accents
Voto:
I personally consider it one of Tom Petty's worst works, with really few memorable tracks. A pretty stretched-out pass.
Patti Smith Group Wave

"The album opens, without much bite, with Frederick"............but it's a joke, right?
Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request
Voto:
In general, this album is considered an anomaly in the Stones' catalog. A kind of flower-power illumination in those such lysergic and psychedelic years. However, not really their territory. I would resonate with the light comments, but not with your dissertation. In truth, I've always ignored it; I’ll give it a listen now.
Vanessa Van Basten La Stanza Di Swedenborg
Voto:
Since we're talking about football, I want to share my thoughts. In the last 25/30 years, from what I've personally observed, I believe that Maradona has been the greatest of all time. After him, there were Platini and Van Basten. For this reason, I respect Ibrahimovic, but comparing him to the swan of Utrecht is a long stretch. Van Basten didn't play... he danced.

I give you a 5 just for mentioning the great Federico. I don't know this album, but Orfeo 9 is a beautiful musical theater representation.
The House Of Love The House Of Love

I only have the debut vinyl, which has a cover featuring a couple of faces up close. Honestly, I've never been that excited about them, also because, in my humble opinion, they lose by KO in the early rounds when compared to The Smiths. But are you really so sure you hear echoes of that great track "How Soon Is Now"? I haven't listened to them in about twenty years, and I might be wrong, but I have serious doubts about it.
