Portishead Third
Voto:
Not to be pedantic, but it seems to me that it’s set to release on April 28. Still, I also stand against hasty pre-reviews, even though it’s become a world that burns everything in the blink of an eye, so it must be accepted.
Mariah Carey The Emancipation of Mimi
Voto:
Come on, you wanted to do it. Considering your previous reviews, one has to believe that it’s not Mariah’s musical side that attracts you. And indeed, suspicion arises.
Donald Fagen The Nightfly
Voto:
In light of your nickname, I'm really glad you appreciate a work that's quite distant from progressive. The album is stunning; it's a pity that Fagen hasn't been able to reach such levels again. Epic cover, but the video that accompanied the single "New Frontier" is also very beautiful.

FINALLY ON APRIL 29TH IT SEEMS THAT THE NEW PORTISHEAD ALBUM, SIMPLY TITLED "THIRD," WILL BE RELEASED. THERE HAS BEEN TALK OF IT FOR AT LEAST 5/6 YEARS AND NOW IT SEEMS THE TIME HAS COME. I'M SHOUTING THIS BECAUSE I THINK THE NEWS DESERVES IT.

Contemplation. I didn’t understand anything you said, just like you probably didn’t understand anything I said. Maybe we speak two different languages, but that’s okay. Bye.

@Contemplation. Consistency is the virtue of fools...beautiful concept, which I obviously do not share at all but which applies on a very large scale as I have already more or less stated, only validates my thesis. If one day your partner were to put a stage of horns on you and then, with absolute candor, declare "dear contemplation, consistency is the virtue of fools," who knows if you would still think the same way.

My post is not against anything or anyone. I simply made an observation that is hard to dispute. This is currently the most visited and commented page. And then I drew my conclusions from that.
AA.VV. 58° Festival Di Sanremo
Voto:
As every year, the review of the Sanremo festival is the most commented and the most visited on the homepage. Obviously, no one watches the festival and obviously, everyone is disgusted by the groups and/or soloists present. All disciples of John Cage, Karl Heinz Stockhausen, or Giacinto Scelsi. And so it goes in the world. Telling the truth and showing one's face is optional. After all, hardly anyone does it in any field, so why should we exempt ourselves from this rule? Sadly, the world is about appearance, not being.
Devo Oh, No! It's DEVO
Voto:
Personally, I loved U2 throughout the eighties. Unfortunately, Bono's media exposure has greatly discredited their work, even in the eyes of long-time fans. However, I believe there is little objectivity in evaluating their albums at least up to Achtung Baby.

This album has an average rating of 3.75, while War by U2 has an average rating of 2.60. Well! Double well! And triple well! I wonder if you really think so.
