AA.VV. Festival della Canzone Italiana: prima (e per me ultima) serata

Inculamorti: you have a fantastic nickname, can I use it for my next blog? Thanks for the crrrrrrrrrrrrretino, I read it all to my friends at the bar and they said that from now on you're one of them ;)
Divodark: we understand each other.. and think that, at least that's what they say, that monument on two legs eats it all, that Alex Britti.. sic...
Nick: finally a positive evening, right? ;)
Afsa: you didn't understand a damn thing. Don’t you see, from how my speech is going, with the scene of the salad bowl of profiteroles etc etc, that it’s a self-deprecating thing?
JimMorrison and Mike76: on the second listen of Povia's piece I was already singing it putting "scoreggione" instead of "piccione", and making "prrr" instead of "ttrruuu".... it was something stronger than me... ;)
Aniel: the people at Debaser know, since I sent my email to them, that my review was done on February 28th, so well before that (very enjoyable) one by Gemma. And then, if you have the bad idea of reading my other reviews, you know that I always go off the rails with much gusto... Bye!

I really enjoyed reading the comments... fantastic! I'm trying to respond to a bit of everyone; let's see if I can manage it... To those who don't appear in this "list"... a big hello!
Masahiro: I may be a fool; it's definitely foolish for me to keep the name of a historic group in Italian music like the Nomadi even though it has practically nothing to do with the original (and here I agree with you).
Ajejebrazorf (in the series: it's not easy for me to write certain reviews, but it’s also not easy for you to come up with a nickname like that, huh? ;) ): I agree on Oxa; in fact, I wrote about her "she transforms into a kind of Diamanda Galas," not that she has become the Italian Diamanda Galas... Let's say: she tried... but if you, like I did, have seen Galas live, you understand that the charisma and personality of such an artist can't be built in five minutes at Sanremo...
Eneathedevil: in my opinion, Panella's lyrics aren't nonsense; sometimes he may write things thinking more about their "musicality" than their actual meaning, but he always has intriguing and surprising insights... I find it very interesting. Back in the days of working with Battisti, I didn’t understand a thing; now, when I reread them, I can catch the nuances and the "entry keys" of his lyrics... have I matured? Or gotten worse? ;) His interviews are always interesting too. However, it’s undeniable that he often "puts on a show," in the sense that he poses with twisted, cryptic phrases...
Belloccio: well done, you hit the point.

What kind of review is this? You only put Jim O'Rourke's comment and that's it... Fortunately, I got the CD about a month ago, so I mixed your damn numbers from 01 to 11 inside and out of me, and while taking a shit in my bathroom, a bouquet of flowers came out.

Dear Socrates, Saturday (that is, tonight) I will be at Azioni Inclementi, in Schio, province of Vicenza (which is not exactly near my place, but the guys organizing this happening are really good... I just saw the new show by Antonio Rezza, and it's an exhilarating delirium not to be missed) and I will read something by Maurizio Milani (and also something of mine…). Come on, join us! The very talented DJ Mutamassik will also be a guest!

Great newaver! It's true! But you know that when I bought the CD, I thought to myself, "But I've seen that effect somewhere before..." and I couldn't quite focus.
Giubbo, lately I've been listening to some old Plastikman stuff (from about ten years ago) and I found something, yes, yes...

Great great great record, I totally agree! Too bad I've never seen them live... I've had it for about a month, who knows where the hell it ended up... If it ended up under the embossed poster of Federica Ridolfi from this month's Max, I'm screwed... who's going to find it now, among her tits? ;)
