Robbie Williams Life Thru A Lens
Voto:
And to think he was part of the Take that... I find Robbie charming, a bit posh, and just the right amount of cocky to make the girls swoon but also come off as likable to the guys. And since he launched his solo career, he hasn't missed a beat, even venturing into genres where artists with the biggest guts would hesitate. In short, he's a wild card who knows what he's doing, and "Angels" isn't his only noteworthy song. If on top of all this he has built a mega business and is raking in a ton of dollars... let's not call him stupid!!!

Great album, one of my favorites in recent times!! Among other things, their previous work (The Good Life) is also very beautiful, already hinting at the great potential of this Danish band! Their new album comes out in October (2005)!

But Enk, haven't you been experiencing some sexual imbalance lately??? Your comments in the recent reviews often contain the word "culattone" (maybe "recommended" in Sgarbi’s style?)... like this one, the one about the Cure, about Ex-Models, Télépopmusic,... and scattered here and there are other "ambiguous" references... I think it's time you stop playing five against one... (just kidding, anyway!!). Hellooooo!
The Pogues If I Should Fall From Grace with God

I know the group by name, but not the album... anyway, your storytelling skills are excellent; it feels more like a Bukowski novella than a review..!! Ciaooo
Green Day American Idiot

"The previous albums, especially Shenanigans and Warning, had a genre that was quite hard to digest and not very catchy."?? In my opinion, Warning is perhaps the most pop and catchy album that Green Day has made (which was still pretty nice!). In this latest one, they’re less pop-punk and more rock, or at least they’re trying to be... after all, what were we expecting, a milestone of music??!! And maybe this is exactly their strength, simple music that’s easy to listen to (and often enjoyable...)
Girls in Hawaii From Here To There

An album that enveloped me with its pleasant lightness... a breath of fresh musical wind!!! These Girls In Hawaii are truly good!! PS- I agree with Hal in adding the Fab Four to the list of influences that can be seen in the album.
