The fact that they are Swedish definitely played a role... then I believe that with the first two albums they attempted to conquer the European and global market, and perhaps the results weren't quite satisfying, so they must have decided to remain cult figures in their homeland and not to venture too far... but it's just an idea, I don't really know if it went that way, I don’t have the sales data for the first two works. Furthermore, I find that by singing in English they would have risked blending in with a whole host of bands offering a similar genre, whereas in Swedish, while undoubtedly losing in comprehensibility (who speaks Swedish these days??!!), they gained in originality... oh well, the mysteries of music!!

Surely, you can find something from Hagnesta Hill in this album as well, but I believe I can say it’s a bit more experimental and less pop. It’s hard to explain; Hagnesta is more immediate, catchy (still stunning, mind you), while this one requires more attention and time before it gets into your system. However, it’s really very beautiful. Also, we shouldn't overlook the fact that singing in Swedish helps to create a unique sound, different from the English in Hagnesta.

It’s their latest album, dated March 2005; I can't find it here in Ticino yet, but I managed to order it online from the website www.cede.ch. I’m not sure if they deliver abroad. Bye!!!
