Second chapter of this Danish band (formed in 1998 in Copenhagen), released in 2003 by the Mercury label.
"The Rules Of Transportation" is an indie rock album crafted with sophistication, with tones that are at times funereal, melancholic, capable of creating dark atmospheres that, however, do not frighten or intimidate, but rather cradle you, leaving you there, suspended in the limbo that forms.
The foundations are simple, at times sparse, like being churned out from a blender in which Nirvana and Radiohead have been mixed... The voice is calm, warm, deep, at times indolent, and marks the flow of the notes through the 10 tracks.
Noteworthy are "Those Who Got Away With It" and "Arms Raised," probably the best tracks of the album, which still manages to maintain a good standard throughout its entirety.
Nothing more to add... the difficult judgment is yours...
Enjoy listening!
