@19lunghezze: there would be long discussions about what DeBaser does or does not need in terms of reviews (for me, the sacred rule of de gustibus always applies, but surely the site does not need comments of such low quality as yours...)

You're right, Tia, it's just little things... in front of good music, the rest is just background!

Acc... I was about to do it... a small correction: there are six of them, not four... the previous album, a stunning example of those who let a thousand influences shine through (and what influences) without inventing anything new, but doing it damn well, was dated 2003, and after 5 years of silence, with the expectations sky-high after that debut, it seems they have managed to propose, without completely altering their nature, another excellent album.

I only remember the nice 74-75 by the Connels, the soundtrack of some beautiful moments from my late adolescence... the review is really a lovely piece, congratulations!

Well, what can I say... I liked some things from their early works, but after that... not much. Around here (in Ticino) they are clearly very well-known, but they are still quite down-to-earth people; I’ve already happened to run into Steve and Leo a few times in some local bars or restaurants, especially in the summer.
