Well, whoever wrote to you gave you a flat-out 1 and you're calling me out??? Personally, I think a lot about my reviews, but I believe yours completely missed the most important thing: the approach to the album itself. You talk about ugly songs and only mention 2! You make an absurd and completely irrelevant account of nu-metal to introduce a Deftones album (are you telling me that the 5 from Sacramento, except for KoRn, fit into the patterns of the bands you mentioned???)! I suggest you relax and listen more closely to "When Girls Telephone Boys," "Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event," "Battle Axe," and "Needles and Pins," and then we can talk again about this album, which is definitely not a test but rather a confirmation. I truly consider it a great album, and I don't seem to be the only one.

And you give 5 to a good album? Technically, the band is undeniable, the new singer is more versatile than Stapp, but now Cornell is stepping up. The fact is that the songs are really good but they still lack personality... and that's a factor that can't be overlooked.
