Well, I'm a huge fan of Vasco: I've seen him 10 times and every week I go hunting for his best cover bands here, in the pubs around my area, which play at least 2/3 times a week and I sing along to those powerful lyrics throughout the whole concert:
bandanas, leather vests, drop sunglasses, "We are just us," it’s thrilling to say the least, deeply moving, it celebrates our music, it makes us feel like ROCK PEOPLE!
We make others envious. Thank you Vasco, we love you!!!

Try with something a bit lighter: Blink182, Good Charlotte and similar bands, it might work better for you.
