The album is beautiful (personally, I much prefer The Sickness), but 5 is a huge gift, one of those gigantic ones.

Indeed, that's what I wanted to tell you, Poddo: Megadeth have messed up 2 albums (like Metallica), but then they bounced back quite well with the acceptable "The World..." and the really good latest one. As for Slayer, you can truly say they've never missed a beat (I even like "Divine..."). In response to your question, <What is it, a forty-year-old with more than 20 years of music behind him can't make good music anymore?> these are the answers... and thinking about it, even Testament and Anthrax have an honorable "old age." Metallica have the great advantage that live they continue to be a force to be reckoned with!

Beautiful, very beautiful, morbidly and damned beautiful... devil of a Steele...

Right, Poddo... so what can we say about Megadeth or, last but not least, SLAYER???? Given what Metallica accomplished in their first artistic decade, it's only fair to always expect something good. St. Anger is an album full of good intentions, but those intentions crumble with each listen... is there any hero among you who can listen to it 2-3 times in a row?

Come on ManiAc, you’re a die-hard fan of Bizkit just like I am of KoRn... and it's only fair that everyone roots for who they love.

Ufffff....come on....I'll copy and paste what I found out there to make it up to you: "the CD artwork strongly resembles some posters from Stalinist Russia...(in a death version..)", "the terrible cover probably painted by Fred, perhaps a result of visions experienced by the singer in Prague"...there's nothing very clear, but it hasn’t generated much enthusiasm!

But what the hell do I know about the cover??? Look it up online! Go to the Italian Limp Bizkit site and see if you can find-read something!!!

Discussing in these tones already pleases me more; this is (and will be) a very particular album in the discography. Thinking about it, it could be the start of a new path; for you, it will have convinced many people, but for me, it will have disappointed just as many others.
I'm sorry to read around that the album is receiving harsh reviews, and in the first week, it sold 37,000 copies compared to the 325,000 of Results my Vary (and the over one million of Cocholate...), which says a lot and has multiple interpretations.
I understand those who defend it; I don’t know how long and in what way you’ve followed them. I got to know them with Nookie and waited for and purchased all their future albums. I also defended those who criticized Results my Vary (as can be seen from my comments here on DeBaser), an album I accepted without too many issues, but this one... no. But you know how it goes: De Gustibus! Bye.

Giving a 5 to this work says a lot about your musical competence, but I want to point out something: I certainly didn’t set up the review to focus solely on the album—there's little to say. There were expectations, the premises for the Bizkit to return to writing great tracks, and the motivations were many. A flop, there’s no groove, the lyrics, however truthful they may be, don’t belong to them because political Bizkit are not credible. Besides Lethal, Jon Otto is completely missing, and that’s no small thing because a drummer as capable and technical as he is shouldn’t be relegated to just keeping time; he needs to MAKE HIS PRESENCE KNOWN, yet he’s doing the bare minimum... but that's fine because you like it and the Bizkit have created their masterpiece! Sure, they’ve made the album (or EP) of the year, they’ve created a Must that once the second part comes out will be something you remember and listen to again in ten years because you give it a 5! ....The Unquestionable Truth is a 5 album, thanks ManiAc.... now go read the review from Groovebox.it or Taxi-Driver to get an idea of what people think about it.....a 5.....

Meanwhile, I haven't offended anyone and you ManiAc, just because I say an album sucks (as if I were the only one), you call me a dickhead! If we’re going personal, fine! Go read the review of Significant Other before saying what I think about the Bizkits, until a few days ago, a band that I liked a lot, capable of writing high-quality tracks full of personality; EP or not, this is definitely a low-level album that, after a good initial sprint, fades into the anonymity of flat songs, on the verge of taking off but never able to break free from that state of a track that, right from the first notes, clearly doesn't fit the band, which, apart from Borland, doesn’t convince!
