What a shame this Cornetto is! I read that at the Naples edition, Skin's performance was canceled, and she left ranting because they had shortened the duration of her set to make room for Carmen Consoli's! (even though I don't like either of them) Another nice piece of crap they managed to pull off...

How much this album reminds me of the summer I spent in the military, and now that I think about it, I haven't listened to it in years. "Hedonism" back then really blew our minds... The last song "Glorious Pop Song" is nice too...

I didn't know about this story of beatings and stakeouts outside the house! Maximum respect for the "Black Panthers" of rap, this album paved the way for the true masterpiece "Fear Of A Black Planet" (that's a 5 for me), and the subsequent "Apocalypse 91..." (another masterpiece). It's worth mentioning as you did "Channel Zero," a great example of crossover from 1988!!
