THE REVIEW

Come one, come all!
Beings equipped with upper limbs who, at least once, have kept your hands high with open palms, in ecstasy, in the dark of a dancefloor.

This is for you. Bipeds who love to move limbs and whatever else to the right beat.
For you. Nostalgics of sweaty, shared nights, in front of a DJ. In ecstatic empathy. In a club, a rave, a party, a room. Anywhere. With closed eyes. Observing massive patterns cut with scalpels. Electro-digital bubbles made of obese yet genuine basses.

Hear! Hear!
Ears trained for borderless and uncompromising electronic. This is for you. For those who want to tune into the magnificent progressive destiny of the electro-techno-IDM scene or however you prefer to call it.
Because this Orchestra plays joyously, dancing and yet thoughtful. And it produces bubbles that contain the past, present, and future of many sounds made with digital instruments. Changing bubbles that possess resonances of Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, Carl Craig, Faithless
Bubbles that preserve what good has come from the techno, trance, electro, ambient, glitch constellations… Bubbles that perhaps could only be born in Berlin. A mutating city where dance Teutonism sprouts in small and big venues (Tresor). Where the muse Ellen "Berlinette" Allien whispers and enchants for quite some time. And her voice rests perfectly on the techno-constructive Apparatus of Sascha Ring.

A successful duo for a consistent, eclectic, and rare album, never boring. An album pervaded with minimal tracks, unusual breakbeats and a tendency to surprise. An album that includes at least 4 gems. "Way out" permeated by a dream-pop melancholy for which Royksopp (and also New Order) would go to great lengths. "Bubble" placid and sensual, where our heroine's voice evokes unfathomable desires. "Metric" built of oblique grooves and sound accidents that make it ideal for a spy story. "Floating points" with an almost industrial pace that perhaps wouldn't displease the survivors of Pankow and Front 242.

In the heart of what we call Europe beats a robust and fascinating pulse. A pulse that unites body and mind. A style, not just musical. Hypnotic electech pop is the name of the beat, for those who wish to enjoy it.
