Yoko Ono Unfinished Music No.2 - Life With Lions
Voto:
In my opinion, you should take a moment to review what the Fluxus collective was. Yoko was not a prominent figure in Japan, but rather in Europe and America. She was part of one of the most important artistic groups (dissident, original, Dadaist, conceptual) of the second half of the 20th century. And this is not up for debate: what can be debated is whether I consider Fluxus more important than the Beatles.

@Zanna: actually, Yoko before meeting Lennon wasn't exactly the last unlucky Japanese girl. let's say that being one of the founding members of the Fluxus movement wasn't a bad background... I would even say it's better than having been in the Beatles, at least in my personal and highly debatable opinion. anyway, for the rest, I'm writing this one comment for all three reviews: I'm glad there's someone without blinders, capable of bringing Yoko onto deB as well. I'm sorry for the negative comments you've received, but on the other hand, you touched a sore spot for many enthusiasts. you still deserve my esteem for your courage and broad-mindedness. the rating is overall. @Cpt.Mutanda: really, has Ale87 been banned?

better the 883s by Frankie absolutely not. it's a matter of quality, point and stop. you may not like rap, but Frankie is a serious artist regardless of what you say. the 883s are not: they are one of Cecchetto's creations, a band made just to milk money from teenagers with not a shred of aesthetics or thought behind them. the phrase "I believe that the 883s were one of the most important bands in Italy" I would reserve for groups like C.S.I. or Almamegretta, that is, bands of a certain depth that have made a meaningful impact in Italy, not for the 883s.

I would like to point out to all users this incredible analysis sent by Ale87, in case someone has not yet placed the above-mentioned user: Pagina non trovata
I quote directly from the conclusion: "I believe that the 883 were one of the most important bands in Italy because they gave voice to the problems of an entire generation of young people, and those who deny the obvious, I'm sorry, but they show ignorance." Aside from the "dà" written without an accent (a rule learned in elementary school), I want to emphasize the depth and refined taste of this individual who rampages through reviews and reviews, spitting crap on everyone. For comparison, I also post a short excerpt from a review by Mien-Mo-Man (still concerning the 883): "the suburban tarro Max who, after two albums of gratuitous swear words in Milanese, sought a revirgination by cutting out a (great, considering what's on TV!) dancer, undoubtedly the most talented of the duo."

Ok, voodoo is an African tradition (but in its current form, it is heavily influenced by Caribbean elements). However, zombies are primarily of Haitian origin.

you're too harsh. I haven't heard the album, but the ones before it (especially Il Suicidio Dei Samurai) weren't bad. And the concert they had here at Estragon was truly intense.

Voodoobionic isn't bad, maybe a bit lacking in originality... but the sounds are okay, the rapping a bit less so. Nice little page.
