But anyway, the latest LCD is not bad at all; actually... it grows with the listens and even the shadow of Burne and company fades away... I would have dared a bit more with the electronics though. I've read mixed reviews about this work... I'm intrigued because I've heard talk of a latent noise vein that pervades the album, is that true? Anyway, I'm not a fan of the genre, I just listened to the new LCD SoundSystem today and I'm not really sure it's a good album... there's quite a bit of fluff among all these Talking Heads imitators.

It's very fashionable to trash various Italian bands, sometimes for good reasons and sometimes not; I have yet to listen to this album, but I was pleasantly impressed by the previous effort branded Verdena. The review doesn't exist; there is mainly a literal outpouring of hate and envy.
