deBaser is a review container. If this isn't a review, well then you should have put it on your blog. Okay, the back-and-forth between you and Zair is nice, but I don’t agree with the initial assumption. For example, Goldie is a jerk, yet Timeless is a masterpiece. What do you say to that? And this is the first example that comes to mind, but there are thousands.

What a beautiful review, what a beautiful project, what a beautiful film! Even here in Bologna, they do such things: the Lumière (the cinema of the film library) often presents silent films accompanied by piano... Once, I even happened to attend the screening of Blackmail (one of Hitchcock's early films) accompanied by a fantastic quartet in a musical indecision between free jazz, hard rock, classical, minimalism, and vaudeville. The result was nothing short of astounding; too bad I can't remember the name of the group, sigh...

Epic movie, in my opinion, it’s offensive to the others in the series (except for the first ones) and to Spencer and Hill as well. This is one hell of a beautifully ironic, surreal, and desperate film; the others are just crap. When the voiceover recites the sequence of colors? Fantozzi at the Station when they steal his suitcase right under his eyes? "Menagramo D'un menagramo!"... everything is beautiful, I give it a THOUSAND!

Well done, dear Zair! I saw them too, but at Estragon and damn, I had such a great time! They played almost all of Vivadixie, except for Someday I Will Treat... damn, but here in Bologna when they started Homecoming Queen, people applauded and you couldn't hear the first verse (the one with the beautiful quote from Richard III)... what a shame... PS: I think it's the security system that's imperfect, not the slip-up (actually, I’d say that was pretty much okay, right?). Was Fennesz opening and then also playing with them?
