Editors, correct "qaundo" and "Maqruee" in the first line. A review that could be really nice if only it were written a little better, and I’m not just referring to the two typos. However, I am stuck on Marquee Moon...

I didn't like Demian very much either... but for that matter, I wasn't thrilled by Siddhartha either.

look Dany87, I’m waiting for a response. Do you know why? Because I want to see if you can justify your ideas and your insults. The funny thing about you is that it’s so easy for you to call someone ignorant, and then when someone responds to you ("who could possibly do that," you think from your lofty presumptions), you hide or change the subject. Come on, step into the open and reply. Go!

how much HYPOCRISY. when he reviewed the genre NickGhostDrake (among other things on a questionable film like New World) there was a downpour of 5s and plenty of admiration. now that Poletti does it, a deluge of 1s. I repeat: how much HYPOCRISY. I add: how many PREJUDICES.

I'm fed up with know-it-alls who think they have the word in their mouth just because they appreciate the aforementioned bands, while they might ignore Soft Machine, High Tide, Manuel Gottsching, Bjork, Primal Scream, or Boards Of Canada (just to name a few of the more famous ones). I've met many of them in my life. People who shout "long live this" and "long live that" and might even look down on electronic music (ignorant), people who think they're gods just because they listen to '70s music and have no idea how much good stuff came after, people who still believe that technique is everything and ignore how wonderful Brian Eno (the NON-musician) has been for all of us, musically and conceptually. Come on guys, we're on deBaser, not on the RadioDJ forum. If I say I appreciate one thing more than another, it means I've listened to both unlike you and your kind.

@Dany87: well, if not appreciating Floyd, Zeppelin, and Queen (it hurts just to write the name of this overrated band) means being Musically Ignorant, then I am and I am very proud of it! If it means knowing less, then it seems that you are the one. From your comments, it's easy to deduce that you are one of those who hang around reviews spouting clichés and always mentioning those same four seventies bands... I’ve listened to them too, but I quickly got fed up. The world is beautiful because it is diverse, and the same goes for music. If someone believes that Pink Floyd or, even worse, Queen are the pinnacle, well, they have a lot more to listen to... (purely personal opinion, not gratuitous but derived from years of very unconventional listening)

I can't stand those who encourage masturbation (I was offended after they did it with me in the review of James Holden, advising me not to take speed). Otherwise, I don't like this type of review. I have the film on DVD but I don’t have the courage to watch it... PS: is Poletti schizophrenic?
