I hope for those who read it that it's less bad than the movie.

here, this is what I miss. at the MarcoPolo in Forlì, I always saw it at a ridiculous price, but probably at that moment I wasn't into hip-hop, so I never bought it... now, though, I've really got a strong craving... nice Michoos, it would have been good to take a break from all that metal/rock in hp!

Don't you understand? It's not about tastes. Once upon a time, he was a serious artist, he made at least three perfect and wonderful albums, but now he's a stupid idiot making bad music. Why should I keep appreciating him or defending him to the hilt? It’s not the name that matters, it's the quality.

I myself, having listened to quite a few albums and even having made a top ten for another site, consider it (as much as I enjoy the way I wrote it) inevitably flawed. Why? Because something always slips through: I still haven’t been able to listen to Mercury Rev and other valid artists (Lars Horntveth and Dj Future) I encountered after I had already closed and sent the rankings. What really bothers me, though, is the air of superiority from those who say that there’s nothing good (PrimiBalli) and from those who always defend the old glories simply because they are old glories (guys, I love Dalla! I love him a lot, but it would never occur to me to defend him right now).

Sorry, I don't want to be picky but... In Rainbows is from 2007. "If I wanted to be a cool teenager who doesn't listen to what the masses listen to, I would write that." Honestly, among everyone who has participated in the discussion, I'm probably the one who listens to the most mainstream stuff (I'm thinking of Outkast or, for example, Gnarls Barkley, who came out this year), so far be it from me to act snobbish. What I've been saying for a bunch of posts now is that to write a review like this one from PB or to support what Donnie has claimed until recently, you would need to have listened to a ton of records, and they, by their own admission, haven't done that.

I don’t want to get into a debate with you; I already have a heated one going in another discussion and I don't have the energy to handle two. But that’s my impression and that’s my vote. I’ve already talked with a lot of people (enthusiasts, moderates, fanatics, and even a few detractors), and I’m sorry, but what you find exciting and profound in this manga, I find boring. I find the two protagonists unbearable and their mental gymnastics a pain in the ass, and I see the references to daily discomfort, the intrinsic evil of humanity, and Christian/Catholic symbolism as mere decoys of questionable philosophy. I don’t know what to do with that, and I don’t understand why I should read the manga if the anime made me sick. Am I a damn masochist?

modesty my ass Fishman, I did a bunch of calculations and that's it. Since the beginning of the discussion, we've been talking about "knowledge of cause" and how do you prove that? with listens. I’m not the one who came in saying that this Fireman is the most original record of 2008 when I’ve only listened to three albums released that same year. It can happen to anyone to miss a ā€œqā€ while writing, right? But if we’re so childish as to cling to these nonsense, then it’s pointless and disheartening to debate with you. Anyway, Lux's comment 81 is worth framing. What does personal taste have to do with it, Donnie? Did I bring up tastes? No. Because apart from the joke about the Queen (which, okay, I can't stand), I never delved into personal preferences or the like. To me, you can easily consider Fireman the best album of the entire decade, but you need to justify it and make me understand that you say this not because you've listened to very few things. But because out of everything you've listened to, this one stands out.

Oh, so you also like Queen, so we can close this discussion here.
