oh, Frankie Knuckles live... it must have been quite something... by the way, I thought the good Frankie was slightly dead... better this way. @Ajeje: a good house record that came out not too long ago is Staring Into Space by Silicone Soul, which I also reviewed. I can't think of any others right now, well apart from Screamadelica which is just too cool! maybe I'll think of it and let you know again.

Havana Glam is really fun, yes yes. But read New Thing, that's a show (for how it talks about jazz and especially for how the good Wu Ming1 experiments with the composition of a book). I like Patton, but it’s known that I'm not (almost) a rock enthusiast anymore, so maybe I have a different taste than yours. It's clear that he’s not a genius; he's a bit like Damon Albarn for pop: their projects almost never make one shout miracle, but they are still more than pleasant listens and quite interesting.

oh, Q is really a masterpiece for me (unfortunately I abandoned Il Nome Della Rosa after just a hundred pages, while L'Opera Al Nero by Yourcenar is very appealing and one day I'll take it up). I liked 54, it was entertaining but nothing more. I've read conflicting opinions about Manituana... maybe I'll think about it. Have you read the solo works of Wu Ming? Who are the U.S.S.A.?
