Tosca (real name Tosca Donati) has a great voice, and she knows how to use it wonderfully. She practically never hits a false note. If she is prominent today, it is thanks to an old Sanremo festival (although she has participated in several) where she triumphed as Ron's partner in the song "Vorrei Incontrarti Tra Cent'anni" in 1996.

"Il Terzo Fuochista" is the piece presented by Tosca for the Sanremo festival 2007 and is probably one of the most original pieces (heard at the Ariston) in recent years, given the festival band nature, in a style (remotely) similar to Avion Travel. The content of the song harks back to an old village festival among the lights, colors, and scents. The lyrics are accompanied by drumming in the style of a joyful fanfare, a sort of festive procession that involves the spirits of the onlookers. A nursery rhyme air that transports, between the lines, the charm of a girl observing the fireworks and the crowds.

Tosca knows how to interpret the song with modulations of voice now soft, now energetic, controlling her undisputed ability throughout the piece. Although the song presents a sort of reuse of old rudimentary sounds, the assembly is successful and winning for a result that definitely sets the song apart from the classic light pop melodies which are as classic, and needless to add, as anything at the Sanremo festival. It is not at all significant how the song ranked given the meagerness of the technical jury involved.
