Well, despite all his adolescence, I didn’t mind this film at the time at all. Predictable and a bit rhetorical, but also visionary and impactful: a definitely atypical film for Italian standards. Three and a half stars that I round up to four out of affection and respect.

No, it seems to me that there's the review of "There's A Riot Going On," which lately, after years of idolization, I find a bit too dry and essential. While this one is direct and engaging, extraordinarily euphoric: still, they're just minor details, both are huge albums. Long live the Family!
PS: No, Psycho, there's no contest, Sly beats Clinton every time.
And yes, Geb, the album by the Whitefield Brothers is a gem.

Well, it's nice that someone still wants to make up for their ignorance and doesn’t just shrug it off, even though a little less arrogance wouldn’t hurt. I still need to listen to this latest work, but I highly recommend "Pieces Of A Man," which is a classic and you can even find a great page about it here on deB. As for the money... I’m not at all sure I want to give it to him, after these last disastrous times I don’t trust too much: at least I’m sure that if he goes back to crack, it’s not my fault for providing the cash.
PS Of course, comparing him to Snoop Dogg is quite the blasphemy.
