PippaCalippa, there are some neo-Nazi private TV channels out there on satellite and they are a hoot: I highly recommend them!

Well... I should mention that I set it aside quite quickly and prioritized something that operates on different levels (Ufomammut - Dead Meadows - Mogway [BBC Session...] - Earth - Meshuggah - etc.), but it seems to me that the stretched-out riffs that previously made them "famous" are missing in the latest work(s), except for (if I remember correctly) "the garden" where the glorious Cathedral make an appearance... which we partially saw again with Endytime or The Ethereal Mirror (here, yes, at times they reminded me of the early Cathedral, the ones that made me fall in love with their sound along with Saint Vitus and Pentagram!)... but then, it’s all subjective...

I've never heard this, but I believe that Jerusalem is one of the most beautiful albums for THC consumers, along with some older records by Cathedral (unfortunately, this year's one is much less)... I didn't understand if this came before Jer. or after, since your copy is a reissue...

I really like Plans; it’s an album that grows on you over time. However, making a comparison with Trans., which is a masterpiece of music and lyrics, is risky. Anyway, they are truly great... I think I’ll use it as a soundtrack for Christmas...

ah, that's why you don't like them; they should be listened to from home, sitting in front of the TV while you watch the latest episode of O.C. ;-)) oh no, I was confusing them, those are Death Cab F.C. (who, by the way, are on a completely different planet!!!)

Indeed, as I've aged, I've gotten worse too... anyway, with music at this level, I believe it ultimately depends on whether you experience positive feelings or not. Some bands may not appeal to you, but you can objectively acknowledge their value; this is certainly not the case here. Everything is simpler, there are no significant technical aspects, and there’s nothing new, so we can evaluate based on what they manage to convey to us, and I enjoy listening to them... then, as often happens, each of us has our skeletons...

Not even a chance? A small, remote, distant possibility that listening to this record in a couple of months will make you feel like a different person, maybe more inclined to fall in love? And the fact that they are in their twenties doesn’t mean anything? And that they’re trying to play with sound isn't a point of merit? Come on, it’s Christmas, let’s try to be kinder...

Do you talk like that in person too, or just in the virtual world?

but for me, it's you who are now so old that you can no longer grasp and enjoy new things... old folks, that's what you are! Turn off the TV and go outside...

Fortunately, I happened to see them live and they were incredibly boring... let's not even talk about their recordings... a band that has the same name as a Japanese multinational says it all...
