Guys, I bought a masterpiece. A record that not only matches "The Perfect Element Part. I", but even surpasses it. Ok, but why is it a masterpiece? (I'm crazy, I ask myself questions and give myself answers like Marzullo... help...). Anyway, I don't want to analyze it track by track; there's no need, it's a work to be enjoyed as a whole.

Starting with the words: if Daniel Gindelow had been born a few centuries ago, he would be called Boccaccio or Petrarch; indeed, the songs have a rare, no... unique intensity. But in the end, we are Italian, and to be honest: who cares about the English lyrics? Nothing indeed, so let's talk about the music part. PoS like syncopated parts, and that's a good thing. Listen to the intro of "Rope Ends", it's pure delirium, not to mention the rhythm changes, wow... Daniel&Co. also show how good they are at making sweeter songs like "Second Love", very sweet and enchanting. The CD, guys, goes down like water, but the problem is you'll get drunk on it (in my mind that means "fall in love"... otherwise the simile wouldn't work...) Then, guys, could there be a PoS CD without a reference to a previous song? No, indeed not. As happened between "Ashes" and "Idioglossia", the same happens between "Ending Theme" and "Remedy Lane". Don't you like the spoken parts (not many, but not few either)? This might be the only thing that might make you wrinkle your nose, but it can be overcome. Actually, no... you have to overcome it!!!

You can't not buy such a beautiful record because it's truly fantastic, and for this, I thank Mon Signor Daniel Gindelow and the other four bishops of the group. Guys, I'm going crazy, but what the heck are you still doing there? Stop reading this damn review and go out and buy this gem!!! Uahahahahah!!! Those of you who stayed to read the last nonsense of this review, know that PoS isn't found immediately in stores, but must be ordered, and that's bad... but oh! Are we kidding? It's okay not to find Gigi D'Alessio (actually it would be better...) or Vanoni, but Pain Of Salvation? They should always be there, always and anyway!!! Okay, that's enough now, I'll leave you guys; I have to listen to "Undertow", one of my 14 favorite songs of the CD. Bye guys.

This album continues the journey begun with The Perfect Element Part 1, but enriches it with some truly exceptional instrumental parts, loaded with that nostalgic energy.

Extraordinary as usual is the vocal performance of the talented Daniel Gildenlow and remarkable also is the performance of the group in general.

Masterpieces are listened to... not commented on!

An album that presents itself as less dark and gloomy than the previous one and seems to offer a more melodic approach even in the harder moments, giving the album a truly classy touch.

It is an album without flaws and finds perhaps its strength in the convincing voice of the leader, capable of elevating an already excellent musical work to a higher level.

WE WILL ALWAYS BE SO MUCH MORE HUMAN THAN WE WISH TO BE.

"An album with great songs, excessive and redundant arrangements and zero (I say zero!) sense."

"Daniel Gildenlow is a genius and he knows it very well, and it breaks my heart to hear how he struts by singing in 4 different styles in 2 seconds of a song."

"An album with great songs, redundant and exaggerated arrangements and zero (I say zero!) sense; a way, in my opinion, to fill a time gap while waiting for a new work."

"Daniel Gildenlow is a genius and he knows it very well and it breaks my heart to hear him show off singing 4 different styles in 3 seconds of a song."
