God Is An Astronaut All Is Violent, All Is Bright

album purchased almost at random, listened to and immediately appreciated, and I’m happy to see that this review confirms many of the feelings I had. Nice atmospheric cd, to listen to in the car or as a useful break between a bit of doom and a bit of gothic :-)
bye bye

They and the klimt (with the room with a view of first year departure) are in my opinion perhaps the most beautiful peaks that Italian music has produced lately. Of course, we're talking about somewhat particular tastes, and if we want, niche, but who cares! legendary November

Exceptional, different from undressed but equally excellent, nothing more to say!

Hello lovelorn, I enjoyed reading your review (like all the others you’ve done so far): generally, I have always agreed with you, but unfortunately this time I can’t share your rating of this album, which to me rests on a mediocre-low standard, nothing more, nothing less. And I think I might even be a bit contrarian because it has been really well-received, but what can I do, it just doesn’t grab me at all, it feels too much like a forced cliché... Oh, it’s been since the days of Nightbreeds of Macabria by TdV that an album hasn’t given me this effect! Keep it up anyway, you’re awesome!

...What a mess has been stirred up around this album!

Yes, it's true, I have that number too; it's funny that I bought it the day after I got the CD! Anyway, I think it's hard for this album to disappoint, because even if there are some slips in style, the highs it reaches are very high. Then, I don’t know, let me know what you think after you’ve heard it!

I apologize for the uppercase but I was at work when I wrote it and I didn't notice... I humbly apologize!! :-)

WELL, IT SEEMS THE LEAST I CAN DO; MY DISCOGRAPHY HAS GROWN EXPONENTIALLY THANKS TO YOU AND THE OTHER 2 REVIEWERS MENTIONED! ALSO, I LOVE WRITING (MY THESIS WAS ABOUT THE COVERS OF PINK FLOYD AND THE HISTORY OF MUSIC IN GENERAL), SO YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT MUSIC MEANS TO ME OVERALL... AND CERTAIN MUSIC IN PARTICULAR!

Come on, he's got something right... or rather, regarding what I've reviewed from him (and I have a few), I notice that he actually gave it a fair assessment. Plus, you know, I don't follow many other review sites besides Debaser, so I don't know if all the albums he reviewed turn out to be that different once listened to, or if his reviews are just so stereotyped... I'll stop commenting on the album now!

Hello everyone and thank you for the compliments on the review! I'm also very happy that one of my three debaserian mentors, to whom I owe a large part of my discography (fidia, norvheim, and wwwhatemoornet), intervened to comment, thank you! I accept all judgments! Unfortunately, fidia, I find myself not agreeing with you very much: regarding the rating, it’s true, 5 is too much, but there wasn’t a 4.5, and 4 seemed a bit low… Of course, if you compare it to Elizium and The Nephilim, this album fades a bit, but in my opinion, it still makes a pretty good impression, if only for the three songs I’ve mentioned multiple times. It’s also true that it’s a bit more industrial, and you can tell from tracks like xiberia (which in my opinion do clash), but I don’t see that as a bad thing… After all, as far as I know, the Fields are currently a one-man band; McCoy did everything himself…
Anyway, I don’t mind it at all! Thanks again for the comments and see you soon!
