My favorite from Varg's entire body of work, immense, creative, dark, and Norse to the marrow, remains an unmatched and perhaps unsurpassable creative peak; the run from "valgadrd" to the stunning "Gullalsr" is truly breathtaking.
Jethro Tull Aqualung
Voto:
The album I loved the most throughout my adolescence, creativity at its highest degree, a perfect balance between side A and side B, just like between electric and acoustic components. The production is also extraordinarily original and stellar, especially for the time, highlighting the richness of Barre's Les Paul and the acoustic arpeggios. All the tracks share a melancholic yet vitalistic atmosphere, sealed by the splendid art cover. My God represents the peak of the Tull's production, and there isn't a single weak track that isn't organic to the whole.

Feel how so cool the Wind l'apice, thick with psychedelic laments that a couple of years later will have a follow-up with the second album by Jan Dukes de Gray.

Acid folk is defined by this album.
Arthur Machen La collina dei sogni

An exceptional decadent and mystical novel, it comes close but does not reach the sublime of "Le creature bianche," the true apex of the great Welsh writer.

A vinyl that I've worn out. Significantly different from the original, only The Knife, interpreted by Hackett at the edge of the mouse. Irritating and explosive, also The Return of the Giant Hogweed, a fantastic piece, live tapping and a major test for the entire group. Enthusiastic reviews but a bit didactic without significant critical insights.

Masterpiece, better than its contemporary from Altar of Plagues, but there's little black metal, perhaps just the right amount...
The Decemberists The King Is Dead
Voto:
NO, IT'S NOT A FLAW but for the Decemberists, in my opinion, it is....two (or three) decent tracks don't make a good album, I feel them more estranged here than with the timid(issim)o prog of the last two albums.
