I've been listening to Queen for years, I don't read newspapers, I'm building my musical culture on my own.. anyway, Genesis are not completely unknown, nor are The Smiths... I can't fully disagree with you about Joy Division.. and anyway, the progressive rock of Genesis is certainly more accessible than the prog of Yes, King Crimson, ELP, and PFM (I have many more to mention, not just prog)... then, someone who listens to Blue and talks with all this arrogance about prog (I also talk about prog with a hint of arrogance, even though I still don't have the necessary knowledge to criticize prog in all its divergences and contradictions, but I listen to it, and I don't listen to that crap of Blue...) I just don't get...
