I'm not attacking Iron Maiden... since Ryche were very similar to Maiden at the beginning but they were on the other side of the ocean, I wanted to make a comparison... do you think saying that one band is better than another means attacking the latter? I love the first Maiden album, but the rest doesn't impress me much... Queensryche are more skilled... much more skilled... it's not an anti-Maiden crusade... simply a tribute to the Ryche... regards

Recently dusted off... a remarkable album with no weak points... Phil Anselmo delivers an exceptional vocal performance... no need to mention the Dimebag style, RIP... Rex is fast and powerful with the 4-string, and Vinnie absolutely kills it... the highlights include the semi-ballad Cemetery Gates, the crushing Shattered, and the title track with the speaking voice that precedes Nu-Metal....

It's a very spontaneous and beautiful album... Dominici isn't that bad... I agree with sfascia carrozze and his statements about the later ones... images and words is the best of all... the suite A Change of Seasons is the best thing ever done by Dream Theater, and I remind you that it was composed between the late '80s and early '90s and then completed and revised before release... Labrie is obviously better than Dominici, but if you're not a hardcore fan, the subsequent albums can really grate on your nerves...
