Are you sure Di Giorgio is not just a simple special guest?

I prefer the next two but this one is exciting too... Day Into Night = Carcass with a Brutal Death drummer (like Inferno by Behemoth)... Defiant Imagination = Brutal Death with more or less pronounced progressive undertones depending on the tracks...
The Hives The Black And White Album

Paramount by Sieges Even is better than this crap and it was released this year...
Soilwork Sworn To A Great Divide
Voto:
The worst of Soilwork, and yet still an enjoyable album... the best remains undeniably Natural Born Chaos... the best hits are there... but I want to remind you that the nice Swedes (whom I had the chance to appreciate live in Milan on October 16) were also a more than worthy death metal band in their origins... Steelbath Suicide and The Chainheart Machine are most worthy successors to Slaughter of the Soul... the debasement of FNF and STD was done with class...

Maybe you were confusing them with Cradle Of Filth ;)
Dimmu Borgir In Sorte Diaboli

Yes, yes, Major Tom... Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Stormblast, and For All Tid are insignificant little works... let's not shoot bullshit, Dimmu Borgir have produced at least one masterpiece and 2-3 albums of excellent quality...

I have my serious doubts... the first album was too focused on the bass, La Rivero had an annoying voice, almost off-key from a certain point of view, shallow and uncommunicative, flat... this is a masterpiece, one of the best prog-metal albums ever, fresh, captivating, with a more balanced equalization of the instruments... P.S. Reinert seems to have only collaborated on the album; I don’t think he’s the drummer, especially since he’s rejoined Cynic... Diana Serra, besides being a beautiful girl, has a captivating voice at times, strained in certain moments and aggressive (though melodic) in others... Dobles has a very personal style and technique... the bassist born in '84 is a monster, and the drummer is equally phenomenal... maybe there’s also a rhythm guitarist... I don’t remember... anyway, this is definitely not a 3, this is a 4.5 album.
