I found a similarity between the new Sieges Even and The Power To Believe by King Crimson... the forefathers of Progressive Rock (coincidentally, there's also a song called Eyes Wide Open there)... anyway, I can recommend Disconnected by Fates Warning and also A Pleasant Shade Of Grey... amazing... they may resemble each other in form as it is a Progressive style less focused on instrumental technique (even though the level remains high)... otherwise, Lateralus and 10,000 Days by Tool might share some similarities in their playing style...

5 stars? I’d say that’s excessive… great musicians… derivative… and honestly, it seems to me that you’re the one who can’t stand Symphony X… so I don’t understand the 5… I prefer Hidden Places… that’s also a great album… Titta Tani, come on, let’s not exaggerate… honest singer, good skills, but that pronunciation that sounds too Italian plagues various singers from our country… it’s a flaw I can’t overlook… bands like Circus Maximus, Thought Chamber, and Darkwater are on a higher level, not to mention Shadow Gallery, Symphony X, Threshold, Ark, Pain Of Salvation, and Fates Warning…

I growl in Human Equation were by Devin Townsend anyways... Quo Vadis, Sieges Even, and now Ayreon... we have quite a few tastes in common... the list could definitely get longer... Remember The Day We Were Invincible............... what an album, guys... considering that I prefer Jorn to the chicken James Labrie.... maybe I even prefer him to Human Equation (even though Akerfeldt, another one of my idols, was on that album, but here we have Gildenlow).
