Type O Negative Symphony For The Devil

Oh really? I had never heard that, I’ve never been a big fan of Pantera. Good to know anyway, next time I hear it called that way, I’ll save myself a nice embarrassing moment! -__-"

Fidia, your unwillingness to buy SFTD makes perfect sense. Just don’t say it’s a duplicate of AD, because that’s not true. AD, as you yourself mentioned, has very brief live snippets simply because it’s a collection of videos (you forgot Cinnamon Girl and the first version of Christian Woman), not a live album like SFTD. The only thing they have in common is the TON that messes things up, but I guess it’s a different kind of mess :)
...anyway, Dimebag Darrell, not Diamond.

I forgot, where I buy the DVD costs 21 euros... just for the record. And then I wanted to ask if anyone has or has seen the second DVD of TON Live in Dynamo, which came out not long ago with Roadrunner. I know it exists, I even ordered it months ago but it seems to be lost O_o!
For ugly: I like all TON CDs equally. Of course, they are different from one another: October Rust is catchier and "romantic" (I'm referring to Love You To Death, Die With Me, Cinnamon Girl, Be My Druides, Wolf Moon). I found World Coming Down difficult; I appreciated it only after listening to it multiple times, but now I literally adore it. They themselves called it "a commercial suicide." Life Is Killing Me is punky in spots (I Don't Wanna Be Me, I Like Goils, Angry Itch) and then falls into a chasm of depression (Less Than Zero, A Dish Best Served Coldly, Nettie, Anesthesia, The Dream is Dead). Personally, I think Anesthesia alone is worth the purchase of this CD; Nettie also deserves special mention, in which Peter Steele talks about his mother who is dying, and Angry Itch, a cover of a song from a musical I-don't-remember-the-name that talks about a transgender who wants to undergo surgery to change sex permanently, it's quite a program when sung by Steele! A digipak version of Life Is Killing Me also came out, featuring a second DVD with unreleased versions of old hits plus the cover included in the tribute album to Black Sabbath. In short, I recommend that you get them all; if not, buy the compilation The Least Worst Of Type O Negative (2000) + Life is Killing Me (2003).

I just ordered Symphony For The Devil and it should arrive in a week (only then will I vote). I had my suspicions that it wouldn't have subtitles, like After Dark; my English is so-so... maybe I'll understand something... maybe not :(
I watched the two trailers (one on their official site - www.typeonegative.net - and one on the SPV site) in January and I've been drooling ever since... I can't wait to have this DVD! As for the medley, I heard it and I was dying when I heard Steele sing Oyo Como Va? (and what about when Kenny Hickey sings?) too beautiful!
Speaking of Hickey, I believe he plays the guitar, not the bass. You also forgot to mention the length of the DVD, which if I'm not mistaken is over 2 hours.
To Fidia: After Dark has nothing live; it's just a collection of videos interspersed with them doing stupid stuff (there’s very little of Pantera). It costs the same, 25 euros, and lasts just under 1 hour.

I read somewhere that it will be released in late 2006, but since Peter&Co are a bunch of lazy drunks (I say this lovingly, I adore them *__*) I wouldn't be surprised if they made us wait a little longer :(

Sublime record, good review.
But Peter Steele is not a "hideous monster" and that's how they portray him (quote: Jessica Rabbit). He is the Green Man!

Oops, I voted wrong... 5 for the TON, 2 for the review because it’s full of clichés (not to mention nonsense) about Peter, I don’t give it a 1 only because the "technical" side is well done.

Nazi? But he's of Russian origin... "The left they say I'm a facist - The right calling me communist - Hate hate hate hatred for all" (Bloody Kisses - We Hate Everyone). Misanthrope? Maybe... but doesn’t anyone think this man is just pulling all our legs?
MISOGYNIST??? Even more absurd, his hatred, or rather his delirium, is unleashed by love: "There is no pain like that of desire - Is there no difference between women and fire? - One burns the spirit - The other the flesh" (Slow Deep & Hard - Prelude to Agony).
And anyway, Peter Steele is really hot! (PLAYGIRL August '95)
Metallica St. Anger
Voto:
Oh damn, really??? Too bad, I liked my version better! (Anyways, there's a difference between bullshit and disinformation) Was Imola devastated? You don’t know about my army boots, I had them for 12 years, then I had to throw them away (sigh)! I don’t understand what you mean by "And then Imola was devastated that day!!!"? Let me guess... it was a great concert? Of course it was! They played to their real abilities, not like in St. Anger. And when they come back to Italy, I’ll definitely go see them again, which I would never do for those posers Iron, the worst concert of my life! (still Imola 2003, 2 days later - because they weren't there)

Anyway, I think they realize it too. I saw them in Imola in 2003, they were supposed to promote St. Anger, but knowing it was terrible, they only played 2 songs from it, the rest all from the first 5 albums. I just hope the next one is worthy of the name Metallica, not a copy of Kill 'Em All, but something more listenable. This is my humble opinion.
