If you're interested in Irish folk, I recommend a historic group, The Bothy Band. There are also countless compilations out there, the one from EMI (emisphere) is truly beautiful; it's called Celtic Graces and should be quite inexpensive.

As Daniele wrote, this album was previously released by the small label Helter Skelter, then it was purchased by Mescal, which, for promotional purposes, invented the guest appearance of Bob Geldof; they had to write a song in a hurry, and the result was the really bad "Il bicchiere dell'addio." The miniCD featuring this track was given away to anyone who showed up with the old edition of the CD. At this point, one of the two singers (the one from "in giorno di pioggia," to be clear) had already left the band. The decline had already begun before the surge to success... "Morte di un poeta" is dedicated to the unforgettable Helno, voice of Les Negresses Vertes.
