Sorry, but you say that "The album is not at all pandering, it doesn't wink at any other artist," then in the description of the tracks (which is, by the way, abominable if done casually), you tell me that this one resembles that, that the riff reminds of another one, that the arrangement could be from this, and that it references another one...
Then my father likes the single, and that ends the discussion. I'm biased against what my father listens to.

Colored lyrics. I share some things, not all, like the interpol have nothing to do with it, and let's stop saying they copy Joy Division, which makes us look ignorant. Anyway, I think you can also find some Primal Scream in this album besides, well, the OBVIOUS Stone Roses that are EVERYWHERE... I don't really like it that much, it's just fine for the underage girls who go to rock discos. At a concert, they threw a bottle at the guitarist's head. Well done.

Well, it's clear that I review trendy stuff. There's nothing wrong with following trends. Some people follow them and some create them, but in any case, they are always trends. Even Joy Division followed a trend, or set one, if you prefer. Trends shouldn't be condemned; they should be revolutionized.
