Hello everyone. I’ll start by saying I don’t understand a damn thing. But Hammett is a great guitarist because, at least, his solos have "soul" if not sometimes "feeling." I already discriminate Malmsteen just by the way he dresses.
However, saying that the guitarist from The Smiths is a genius seems like a huge load of crap to me.
Same goes for Sonic Youth. You can’t compare Malmsteen with these guys.
Otherwise, I’d have to say that Billy Hoverdell and Adam Jones are the greatest just because they play in a band I like, and that would be a ridiculous statement.
