You forgot to mention that they are the only ones who perhaps deserve the legacy of the Smashing Pumpkins. Great album: Big Sleep and Gettin Bright Night simply fabulous. Nothing more to add ;)
Embrace Out Of Nothing

Embrace: "The Good Will Out" is a great Britpop effort full of bridges and choruses borrowed from English hooligans and Oasis, but still well embedded within simply convincing pop ballads (Fireworks, Now You're Nobody, etc.). "Drown From Memory": Decent album, the title track is beautiful, as is I Wouldn't Wanna Happen To You: one begins to wonder why Coldplay have so much success and they don't. "If You'Re Never Been": a crazy mess, damn me for falling for the single "Wonder," when all they needed to do was add "wall" at the end and the trick was done: it’s clear why Coldplay is the pop-rock band of the year and they are not. "Out Of Nothing," as soon as Charles passes it to me, I will listen.

It's oriented towards a lot of music that, to be honest, I don't like either... but that's because there aren't any "indie-alternative rock" people like you and me stepping up to write. So as long as it's just me, Francesco P, and Axelmoloko doing the reviews (and as long as we're still getting almost only damn punk band demos in the office), and there are about ten people writing about emo and hardcore, it's going to be tough. But soon you'll see that the site will be different, with a separate section for the music you (and I) like, so you'll "enter through that door" to check out only stuff that suits your tastes. Bye.

In my opinion, "the noose" is one of the best songs from the past season (or was it two seasons ago? I can't remember...) but I find the band much more suited for singles than for albums. An APC album doesn't hold a candle to one of the Smashing Pumpkins, for example. And if the Smashing Pumpkins, despite having released at least two masterpiece albums, struggle to find their rightful place in the contemporary rock history, just imagine Keenan and company. Bye.

Hi Psycho, emotional is going great (you won't believe it, but I get records at home to review... I’d say it’s a lifelong dream). Of course I show up on deb... you never forget your first love, right?? I see you remain one of the most updated in terms of news. Every now and then I hear from hal or ...caz... but our conversations inevitably revolve around nothing... usually ;)
A hug
Bye
...now I'm going to vote again...

the last-minute fool, I believe, is only you here in the middle.
P.S.
Criticizing the album of an overrated alternative band from the start does not mean having to consequently listen to MTV or read crap in newspapers and believe them...at least I hope.

Damn it, I said... . You write great but we really don't get along when it comes to grades, you and me!! ;))
These guys are stealing big time from the Coldplay (who already steal flatly from others) and make a cheesy and cloying pop in the most "easy" way, I daresay. Francesco_p sent it to me, but I was a bit disappointed. A classic album to have burned at most.
