The Runaway found is the album that (along with those of Devendra Banhart) I listened to the most in 2004 by far. Finn is a great composer. You have a really messed-up face but you write so damn well!

Horrendous musically speaking, useless and quite haughty on top of that. In the new wave of alternative folk, lo-fi, broken indie—call it what you will—I see two distinct chunks. One is made up of talented and rather pleasant artists (Devendra B., Vetiver, Entrance), and the other is filled with those who have taken full advantage of this moment to "float to the surface" like perfect musical assholes bobbing in the water (oh my, what a poet I am! this particularly was a morning metaphor), see these two or worse perhaps Ariel Pink. Have a nice day.

hahahah yes, the girls who drool over that little idiot are the absolute best! So funny! Although I definitely prefer watching that sulky little duckling Lavigne who pretends to be an angry rocker, makes devil horns, never laughs, and the girls... want to be her one hundred percent! Awesome! Now everyone together "I'm older than I wish to beee this town holds no more for mee... wake me up when September ends etc etc"
