After reviewing their second album, I thought about it a bit since, in the long run (but not even that long, really...), it bored me quite a lot. The first one, on the other hand, remains one of the best indie pop-acoustic things released that year in England, in my personal opinion: very intimate and sincere. I only listened to the new single once on xfm, and not even in full, and it seemed decent... we’ll see... I’m sure I’ll give it a listen ;D
Best regards

A review truly written by God: it's too long though and the album is not such a masterpiece for me.

Alright, listen, there are some slight grammatical inconsistencies in the morning post above... don’t pay too much attention to it! ;D

caz...to you Nin Piersonn or whatever she calls herself, she doesn’t even see you (and thank goodness if she takes you to bed she dismantles you!!!) just a little touch... anyway, what a great review!!!!!!!! The single is truly a fantastic song and the video, if possible, is even better!!! But who is the director? By the way, what’s the rest of the album like, more pop-oriented or does it reflect the ā€œkind of angryā€ vibe of the single?

HERE is who it resembled!!!! WELL DONE! I was almost there though... the Genesis (musically as a comparison) came to me right away, but I didn’t think of Peter Gabriel (I don’t know why.... I thought of Bruce Springsteen for some pieces!)

hahahaha yeah yeah go ahead (with you I can afford it, the worst that can happen is that you’re in Sardinia and you can't hit me!!!)
David Gray Life In Slow Motion

kosmo...let it go!
Hal, you're excellent as always; Gray is essentially a singles artist, but certainly not known for great albums (White Ladder, which is nice, but not a masterpiece, will in my opinion remain the exception that proves this rule). He especially shines in some ballads... I’m thinking of the beautiful song whose title I can't remember from the previous album dedicated to his late father... the rest is really very little.
