Aside from the fact that I was referring to frontmen who presumably know how to play the guitar better than Bellamy (Stipe doesn’t play it, or if he does, only with basic first-position chords, the same for Vedder but I'm not sure about that, Albarn can't even strum an acoustic one, and I don't even consider O'Riordan an artist anymore... or at least not anymore; compared to Bellamy, Billy Corgan is much rougher, even though I like him much more), Kroeger... no comment (you can't be serious, RIGHT????) Hetfield only plays two-note chords or at most the F and E in repetition.
If we're discussing who is the coolest and best frontman when it comes to songwriting (and not just playing a Les Paul), I agree with the following: Stipe (Great), Corgan (Very Great), Albarn (half serious).
