Beautiful, listen I’ll say this one last time, I acknowledge that Maiden are giants of metal, but Dickinson’s voice drives me nuts and gets me so worked up that it ruins the instrumental parts which, at least in the early albums, I appreciate.

Yes, one has to get used to it, I really struggle a lot, while I sing I forget to play :), and even if I learn the rhythm well, I still find it hard to keep my mouth close to the microphone, in short, a disaster, but no big deal, I hate singing. A BASS IS MIGHTIER THAN A GUN.

I really don't think that's the problem; if you want to, you can do it. The problem is that Araya is just so bad. Try to think of the multitude of singer-guitarists, and in thrash, the guitar is harder than the bass. To give you an extreme example, there's Masvidal from Cynic—he sings, plays, and excels.
