I really don’t think they’re Italian, despite the Mameli and the Marco, a super heavy record.

The BC Rich guitars suck, and I've tried more than one (of the warlocks); they're nothing but low-end guitars with cool shapes made specifically for those who play bass because they're too bad at playing guitar.

Anselmo is just a jerk; the only thing he has is a great voice and a strong stage presence. What Pantera is and has always been is defined by the Abbot brothers. Just think that Anselmo was already there in Power Metal. All the music of Pantera is theirs, and I have serious doubts that Anselmo wrote any lyrics, considering that when left alone with Superjoint, he didn’t know what to write and ended up with stuff like "Smoke marijuana and I’m proud of it, I drink like a pig and I’m proud of it," etc. Meanwhile, in the lyrics of Damageplan, you can still find a bit of the Pantera style.
