"Lower your wings"?! If you know me, then you know me well; you can only say something like that to me in 1s and 0s. You would never dare a "live" performance of this phrase. I mean, you can totally do it and not even take the risk, but no one in the world who continues to appreciate my human respect talks to me like this, diokka.

Master of the four fretless strings... well, master of the four strings in general, even if the big shot of the cool bass was much better :)

Imbecile, clearly not everyone knows if Jigoro wrote the opposite in the review, fuck you and be quiet, in fact, sign your name first. So how do you prefer reviews to be commented on, only with the typical idiotic comments like yours? Well, then how do you want it... I’ll go on the first review I stumble upon, I’ll remain anonymous, I’ll write "metal shit" and give it a 1, that’s exactly how this site operates. I comment however the hell I want, and if someone in a review (nothing personal, Jigoro) tries to act all high and mighty and says something so stupid, I think it’s more than reasonable to clarify, and I don’t think I was trying to act cool, it’s a poorly written comment, for crying out loud! Anyway, you can go fuck yourself in any case.

Pretty, but I don't really agree with the added guitar discussion; in reality, the phenomenon is the opposite and concerns hard rock, which was the genre that started basing songs on bass riffing, doing it with guitars. In metal, guitarists initially got excited and adopted the playing style, but as time went by, the situation flipped and now the rhythmic base of heavy metal genres is the wall of guitars, while the bass can break free with the little riffs (something that guitars often did). As for jazz, the story is different; the big innovation brought by Jaco didn't consist of breaking away from guitars (guitar???? very little) but of breaking away from the bass's limited role as mere rhythmic support. He made true revolutions in the field of harmonic bass (beware, this doesn't just mean he was cool with harmonics; those are just a small part of it), and by disregarding the fundamental rhythmic role attributed to the bass, he pulled down the melodic parts of the pieces. The result is clearly positive.... I think 5 is too low; I’ve given 5 to albums that only come halfway close to this, couldn’t there be an option for "masterpiece" beyond 5 for that handful of albums in the world that truly deserve it?

But are you thirteen? If you're older, you should lie to avoid the shame. If you're going to comment on a review, first and foremost comment on THE REVIEW and the album if you really know it; stop commenting on the genre of the reviewed album and the people who listen to it just for the sake of insulting—it's annoying, pointless, and stupid. Obviously, there is music that you don't like at all; news flash: it happens to everyone!

Well, let's not exaggerate, the bass lines are elementary, and soulles is as clean as a penguin next to an oil tanker. You might like it, but you can't say it's clean; it doesn't make any sense, it's annoyingly out of time (okay, given the bassist, one might assume it's intentional, but it's still annoying) and it's filled with sounds of nails and keys (which on their own can be nice, see the Sadus, but are definitely not clean) and a bass sound that drives you crazy. Nonetheless, it's a really great CD.

Yes, I prefaced it, I reviewed an album that is extremely well-known and has been reviewed for over twenty years, there had to be a reason.

a guitar with digital pickups (I only know the Roland ones, but I think there are others) and a few million pieces of equipment, you can make it sound like the call of a koala if you want.
