Come on! This album is really great, it’s not exactly thrash metal, but it sounds so badass with that piercing and direct voice (the best from Mustaine), those full, fast guitars! The review actually doesn't concern the album so much, I also feel bad thinking that Chuck is no longer with us (well, a bit yes, come on!) but write a little article on the site, don’t waste the review of yet another masterpiece by Death! The back-and-forth between cliffburton86 and thebassist is pathetic... you are really childish! What does it matter when it was released!? To the other assholes who write bullshit about metal and Death, they weren’t satanists and satan is part of only a small subset of metal (especially black, death, brutal death) and they are truly a bunch of lunatics! And I don't even think they are all serious... but that’s their problem, right? There are really excellent satanic bands musically!

Great album, my first Death, an immense masterpiece! Every song is a gem and this "evolution," contrary to what you say, culminated in "The sound..." their second-best album in my opinion. Chuck was a fucking genius, and Death along with the sadly short-lived Control Denied were his ways of expressing himself and showing it to us. My heart breaks that I listened to their albums when he was already gone. Support music not rumors!

The fear machine with this album has created something monstrous, it’s the most powerful “thing” I’ve ever heard, without needing to burp over it, fast to infinity always and anyway! The Herrera-Cazares duo is frighteningly....mechanical!

Lene Marlin is another commercial creation, completely constructed since she started. I struggle to distinguish her songs and her voice sucks! And the little guitar, let’s not even talk about it! Anyway, the review isn’t bad; if it said something about the album... it seems like a big lump of "defenses against accusations on Lene Marlin" and "justifications for the fact that I like this cheap little music." Too bad because it’s well written! Oh yes, DAMN, I told you, I almost like you, more and more!
