Yes, I am on top...of the bug. ;-) A kiss on the hand to the fair maidens and a salute to the brave (absit iniura verbis...) knights.

This will never appear, like that of Badly Drawn Boy (thanks to the obscure bug). Thank you anyway, dear trell.

I agree with the decision. The user was authenticated, aware, hopefully, of the vote they were casting, and therefore correcting it afterwards would mean, in some way, coercing their will. It would set a very debatable precedent. kosmo, this recommendation thing is a low blow. There's none of mine among the first 8400! :-) A kiss (to Gabri).

You don't have to apologize or worry about making amends. It was just a simple observation on my part.

I can say, in hindsight, that I was prophetic with this comment. :-))

What a shame! Just when I was getting ready to give my 5...which I believe I have already given to Donjunio a couple of times, without ever having the pleasure of not just a comment from him, but not even a greeting. Oh well!

But are you sure about this? From the reviews, she seemed like a nice person...

My take on aging was a joke with a grain of truth. You know I think like you, not because I've almost systematically undergone the treatment. There's someone, like Punisher for example, who gives you his rating; for me it happens very rarely and usually a 4, with justification. I've realized that my style and especially some of my choices aren't particularly liked by him. No objections there. Here, however, there's actually a design, I would call it a scribble, to benefit (?) someone. If there are those who are in such dire straits that they draw reassurance for their shaky ego from such rankings, in a way I feel sorry for them. Just to remind you, many people who write well, with passion, and have style, are not present in the rankings; I’ll just mention the names of Ringo, Blackcrow, Pacino, or the elusive LatoB. The ranking matters up to a certain point. I only hope that whoever has these problems is under twenty: that would be more acceptable.

Nick, you’re lucky! ;-) If it goes on like this, I won’t give him the satisfaction: next time I’ll go in with a 1 at first glance and it will be a charm operation.

To be honest, two or three of mine have also been "sunk." Let's look on the bright side: it's a rather traumatic way to refresh the page of favorites. ;-) What the kid or the adult/childish person hasn't understood is that it might prevent John, Odra, me, and others from receiving this platonic recognition, but it won't stop us from writing; an activity for which the person in question is probably lacking.
